(1) Structural analysis and protein design of NOTCH3 variants for hereditary cerebrovascular diseases such as CADASIL

• Summary

I am focusing on a project that investigates the structure–function relationship of NOTCH3 variants using AI-based protein structure analysis and modeling. This research focuses on hereditary cerebrovascular diseases such as CADASIL, which are caused by mutations in the NOTCH3 gene. Using protein structure prediction and modeling approaches, I evaluate how specific mutations alter structural features and contribute to pathogenic mechanisms. The primary objective of this work is to identify structural signatures associated with pathogenic mutations through comparative analysis of multiple variants. Based on these findings, I aim to develop structure-based biomarkers capable of predicting variant pathogenicity. Ultimately, this research seeks to contribute to improved predictive diagnostic models and therapeutic strategies for hereditary cerebrovascular diseases
