(1) Development of Analytical Methods for Managing Functional Composite Materials in Health Functional Foods

Research theme:

My research focuses on developing quantitative analytical methods to improve interference issues between functional composite materials and nutrients in health functional foods. 

In particular, I aim to minimize interference effects that occur during the analysis of ingredients in multifunctional health functional foods by establishing sample preparation and analytical strategies that reduce interactions between functional ingredients and nutrients. This involves identifying limitations in existing health functional food compendial test methods and improving analytical methods using widely trusted instruments, including those specified in compendial methods and commonly employed in the industry.

Additionally, my research seeks to develop broadly applicable analytical techniques by conducting experiments to determine optimal solvent conditions and comparing various sample preparation methods to minimize interference between functional ingredients and nutrients. By reviewing literature and other relevant sources, I am systematically verifying the reproducibility of these approaches and establishing strategies to derive optimal analytical conditions.

Through this research, I aim to develop reliable analytical methods for assessing functional ingredients and nutrients in health functional foods and contribute to scientifically substantiated functional evaluations of health functional food products.
