(1) Uncovering Aging Markers in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans): A Quest for Insights into the Aging Process
(2) Discovery of APOE Allele Structure: A Protein-Based Diagnostic Marker in Alzheimer's Patients
Summary:
Our research initiative, "Discovery of C. elegans Aging Markers," is centered around the analysis of Caenorhabditis elegans, a model organism renowned for its contributions to aging studies. This pioneering project involves the meticulous examination of protein alterations correlated with varying levels of aging. Through systematic analysis, we strive to unearth protein markers intricately linked to the aging process. By elucidating these markers, we aim to gain deeper insights into the molecular mechanisms underpinning aging and potentially uncover strategies for promoting healthy aging.
The endeavor titled "Discovery of Structural Protein-Based Diagnostic Biomarkers in Alzheimer's Patients" embodies our commitment to advancing Alzheimer's disease research. Our primary objective is to employ cutting-edge techniques such as AlphaFold-Multimer to predict interaction sites within protein multimers associated with the target protein. Through this innovative approach, we aspire to unlock the development of therapeutics that can effectively inhibit these interaction sites. By targeting the structural aspects of protein interactions, we aim to pave the way for novel diagnostic and therapeutic avenues in the realm of Alzheimer's disease.
