(1) Discovery of aging Biomarkers through Multidimensional Proteomics and Machine Learning

(2) Behavioral Evaluation in Ultra-efficient Animal Model-based Big Data to Validate Genetic Mutations that Cause rare disease

I am engaged in two major projects. discovering biomarkers of aging and rare diseases through multidimensional proteomics and machine learning.

Biomarker research plays a critical role in the early diagnosis of diseases, the realization of personalized treatment, and the development of new therapies. Through this, it becomes possible to predict and prevent diseases, and it serves as an important tool in the design and evaluation of clinical trials. Biomarkers are leading innovations in the medical and life sciences fields, contributing significantly to the advancement of future medicine.

To find biomarkers, we map changes in the proteome over time and integrate the results with machine learning to predict aging-related changes and discover aging signal proteins. We also periodically analyze full-length genome data related to rare diseases through big data analysis. We are discovering causal genetic mutations by re-analyzing them, verifying genetic mutations using animal models and building prediction models based on behavioral endpoints.
